Evan in the Pearl

Shooting in an urban area is not something I do very often. Usually I head to my clients home for at-home sessions.

With Evan, though, his portrait session is a secret. Shhhh. It’s a gift for his momma. So, his momma’s friend sneaked him away for a morning and met me in the Pearl (NW Portland) for a bit. We met in front of a giant orange wall (which perfectly matched his Crocs). Moseyed over to watch a train. Then hit up Tanner Springs Park and played with some balloons. All in all a pretty perfect shoot: Color, industry, urban, nature and more color!

Enjoy the selection below (and SHHHH, don’t tell Evan’s momma about this post.)

He is absolutely darling and every frame shows a different side of the personality. The second one up from the bottom is too cute for words :)

You are so good at documenting/photographing little ones Lisa!
